0cdde08a002e502d803f8e1f29190428Hi My Loves, Paolo Nutini singer, songwriter .Nutini’s debut album, These Streets in 2006, he was nineteen at the time peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart. Paolo Nutini makes a huge splash with his debut album, These Streets. Paolo displays a natural talent for singing and songwriting; and his voice is rich and full of masculine warmth. I’ll warn you ahead of time – these songs will be stuck in your head… you won’t be able to stop singing them silently. Paolo has a great voice that has a unique quality about it. It isn’t smooth sounding, but is beautiful. You can feel the passion when he sings. You guys know me well enough to know that is what I like in my music.

I sit around and wonder about the fire in your eyes. The movement of your fingers, the way you slowly complicate my life – Paolo Nutini

Throughout 2006, Paolo played a number of sold-out concerts across Britain and performed at a wide variety of venues worldwide, including King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, a TV appearance on Later with Jools Holland, Carnegie Hall in New York, performed at the Glastonbury Festival in June 2007 on the famous Pyramid Stage on the second day of the event. ce565a4e478c9ef0893ae9789532338eHe had the world at his feet and the talent to back it up. On 1 June 2009, Paolo released his second studio album Sunny Side Up, which debuted at number one. Reviewed as his joyous second album organically blends soul, country, folk and the brash, horny energy of ragtime swing – Some noted the move away from the sound of the debut album but that’s what great musicians do, they evolve. He took some time off and after 5 years, Paolo released his third studio album, Caustic Love, in April 2014. It was reminiscent of music from an era, such as Rod Stewart and Joe Cocker. He very soulful in a stripped-down sort of way, but it’s not overdone. He just has natural talent. The comparisons are many: Otis Redding. John Martyn. Maybe a spot of Johnny Cash. Cat Stevens. Van Morrison. If you haven’t yet had a listen. Jump on to You Tube, I Tunes or wherever the kids are finding music these days and have a listen xxLayla
